This national label is awarded to winegrowing territories of France who are committed to providing top quality welcome services!

The French Vignobles & Découvertes label was created in 2009 and is awarded for a 3-year period by Atout France, after receiving a recommendation from the French ‘Conseil Supérieur de l’Oenotourisme’, to a tourism and winegrowing destination that offers a range of complementary products and services for visitors.

Welcome, authenticity and quality

‘Vignobles & Découvertes’ is the only national label that guarantees visitors an all-round discovery of the vineyard, thanks to high quality welcome services. The label is attributed by Atout France to tourism and winegrowing destinations where a range of complementary products and services are offered for visitors: accommodation, restaurants, tours of wine cellars and tastings, museum, event, etc. The label makes it easier for visitors to plan their trip and choose the right services.

AOC Bugey wines showing the way

The Bugey vineyard has been labelled ‘Vignobles & Découvertes’ since March 2017. A part of this vineyard is in our destination, in the Revermont mountains : Ceyzériat, Bohas-Meyriat-Rignat, Journans, Tossiat, Saint Martin-du-Mont…

We got involved in this initiative along with the Communauté d’Agglomération du Bassin de Bourg-en-Bresse and Aintourisme.

It is free to apply for this label, which is valid for a period of 3 years.

Partners displaying the ‘Vignobles & Découvertes’ label have to meet certain requirements: a high quality of welcome services, special wine knowledge and a desire to share, tradition as well as an openness to natural, cultural and human heritage. They will welcome you and offer a range of carefully selected products and services.

Wine cellars, accommodation, restaurants, cultural sites, events, etc. have all been selected for the quality of their welcome services, their desire to share and their authenticity. Come and meet these professionals, for an unforgettable stay guaranteed.
