Lac de la Rena, a hint of south-west France

Lac de la Rena, wakeboarding park just 10 minutes from Bourg-en-Bresse

Come and discover the Lac de la Rena and a whole host of water sports at the heart of Seillon Forest, on the outskirts of Bourg-en-Bresse. This leisure complex is exclusively devoted to wakeboarding, cable skiing and kneeboarding.

Paradise for water sports

This place is in a hidden location. Even the locals are often surprised when they come across this complex while walking through the forest. Whether you consider cable skiing to be a sport in its own right or a leisure activity, you can expect a thrilling experience nonetheless. Anyone from the age of 7 to 77 will enjoy the excitement and top speed, and who knows, you might even run into one of the French riders who come here to train.

Budding riders

There are introductory sessions available for young riders or beginners. For those who already feel at ease on the board, the jumps and other modules provide a perfect playground for a sporty afternoon with family or friends.

Being a spectator is fun too

If you don’t feel like getting out on the water yourself, you can admire the tricks and falls (it’s all part of the learning curve) from the shores of the lake. At the Lac de la Rena, you can also walk or cycle around the lake, or maybe you’d prefer to relax in the sun or the shade. Why not organise a picnic? If you forget to bring your picnic hamper, don’t panic, there’s a snack bar on-site selling food and drinks.
