Exploring Mont Myon

Mont Myon is a bit like the climb up the Tourmalet mountain pass on the Tour de France. It’s not the highest peak but it is an iconic, legendary one. Here is some advice to make sure you fully appreciate it.

Quite simply iconic

Mont Myon is a name that has become iconic in the region. This is the most famous of the Revermont mountains, in the first foothills of the Jura mountains, in the village of Pressiat, just 30 minutes from Bourg-en-Bresse, . It is 663 metres high and offers a 360° panoramic view from the top. But you should know that, even if it is the most well-known, it is not the highest peak in this mountain range. So which one is the highest ? Mont Nivigne of course, which is 768 metres high.

Classified a remarkable landscape
