The successor to the old Champ de Foire livestock fair in Bourg-en-Bresse, the foirail de la Chambière has become France's leading livestock market, with over 100,000 head of cattle sold each year. A lively, animated visit beneath the impressive hall, where the clamor of calves, grazers, dairy cows and buyers and sellers resounds.
