Founded in 2016 from a line-up of two oboes, bassoon and harpsichord, it now comprises a variety of ensembles performing repertoire ranging from Baroque trio sonatas to large-scale renads from the Classical and Romantic periods.

In this program featuring virtuosity on bassoon and oboe, Sarbacanes invites you on a tour of the German trio sonata. From Dresden to Hamburg, via Frankfurt and Halle, we meet the Saxons Fasch and Haendel, the Czech Zelenka and the famous Venetian prete rosso Vivaldi, who wrote some of the most inventive and challenging pages for our instruments. These baroque pyrotechnics will be the occasion for the Sarbacanes musicians, supported by the harpsichord and violin, to redouble their cadences, arpeggios and rockets, provoking veritable musical fireworks!
