Djamil Le Shlag

Nurtured by a meandering career off the beaten track, Djamil
has only one real desire: to make people laugh on stage. At the age of 30, he feels ripe for a start in comedy, and is now putting all his energy into imposing his style and vision. To find his role models, there's no need to look to comedians. He draws his inspiration more from the likes of James Brown, Jacques Brel and Freddie Mercury, performers he admires for their ability to set stadiums on fire. An unconditional fan of Mohamed Ali, he takes the stage as a ring and seeks to touch his audience in the head, in the heart but above all in the stomach. Because his aim is to make you fold in half!
