Then on to Montrevel-en-Bresse via the "La Traverse" greenway to reach the Ferme du Sougey, where you can enjoy a dip in the Plaine Tonique at the end of the day, and why not spend the night?
    D2-J3: Departure for the Dombes region and its ponds. Heading for Saint-Paul de Varax, then Saint Nizier le Désert, you'll arrive at Le Plantay. Take time to visit Notre Dame des Dombes, a 19th-century Cistercian abbey famous for its musculine production. Continue on to Villars les Dombes, where you can spend the night at the Camping du Nid du Parc, adjacent to the Parc des Oiseaux, one of Europe's finest bird parks and a flagship tourist attraction in the Ain department. We invite you to spend a whole day exploring the park.
    D4: Heading for Joyeux towards Saint-Maurice de Beynost, you'll wind your way through ponds to reach Miribel, home to La Madone du Mas Rillier, the highest religious statue in France. Then you'll reach Lyon's Confluence district via ViaRhôna, the Euro Vélo 17, one of Lyon's must-see districts with its futuristic architecture. You'll then set off again on La Voie Bleue, Véloroute 50 connected to ViaRhôna at Lyon Confluence, to reach Trévoux for an evening stopover at Camping Kanopée Village on the edge of La Voie Bleue. D5: Take time to discover Trévoux and its many treasures before setting off again. Continue your journey along La Voie Bleue to the Jardins Aquatiques in Saint Didier/Chalaronne, a living museum of aquatic plants featuring real Japanese Koi carp. In Thoissey, a neighboring village in the Beaujolais region and adjacent to Saint-Didier/Chalaronne, the "Le Val de Saône" campsite on the banks of the Voie Bleue can accommodate you for the night. D6: Continue along the Voie Bleue to reach your starting point. You'll pass close by the Base de Loisirs de Cormoranche/Saône, where you can enjoy a refreshing moment, and then Mâcon, the city of Lamartine on the banks of the Saône. 17 km to the north, you'll find Pont-de-Vaux, a small town to discover, with its river port, museum and water and nature centre.

    - Cyclists must apply the rules of the Highway Code to ensure their own safety and that of other road users. Mutual respect between cyclists and motorists.
