If Bresse is famous for its chicken, it's also proud of its other A.O.P.: "beurre et crème de Bresse" (Bresse butter and cream). Justine, from Elevage de la pierre dorée, takes you on a tour of her farm and talks about her care philosophy. Her cows are especially pampered and cared for naturally. All her milk goes to the Etrez-Foissiat cooperative dairy.
Céline welcomes you to a bucolic setting to tell you all about the long history of A.O.P. "Beurre et crème de Bresse". What could be better than a hands-on workshop to get to grips with the quality of the product and its local flavor? A unique opportunity to make butter using a churn. Step by step, you'll get to grips with ancestral techniques, and the beautiful color and texture will develop. It's up to your taste buds: what flavors will you discover?
For those who have the time, it will be possible to attend milking at the farm at the end of the workshop.
