  • In the heart of the Suran valley, a hike on the Comté lands, a landscape of meadows typical of the Jura mountains. A crossing of the river offering views on its fords and a discovery of Chavannes, the comtoise.

    Base VTT Espace Revermont - FFCT signposting - n°6 - blue

    Pass the Suran bridge and the cheese factory (AOP Comté), take direction Grand-Corent. Before Banchin, turn left and go up the Suran river (see the fords) until the Bouverie mill. At the RD.936, turn left and then right towards the ferme des Pies.
    In Chavannes, turn left at the D.3, pass the bridge and the campsite (see : small Suran and wash house). In the village, why not make a detour to the church...

    At the intersection with the RD. 42, turn right and then left in the direction of the Clapay wood (to see: the gour de la Rande).
    Go to Dhuys, cross the RD.936 to reach the hamlet of Thioles.
    In Thioles, take the RD.42 to Simandre.
