Nesrine (musique du monde) - ÀLAFOLIE !

Born in Douai and having lived between France, New York and Paris, Nesrine is a Franco-Algerian singer-songwriter. Her work weaves together French, Arabic and English, each language bringing its own musicality and sonority.

Her second album is a story as personal as it is universal, in which her memories and encounters with friends and literature are transformed into songs, from Khalil Gibran to Gainsbourg, Beethoven and Erykah Badu.

The cello is the common thread, inviting us on a veritable musical voyage. Present on every track, the instrument is present in every register: from bass to solo, it even becomes almost symphonic at times.
