After releasing 3 albums under the name "Kandid" between 2004 and 2014, in a "chanson-folk acoustic" vein, followed by a long interlude for young audiences with the successful musical tale "Victor et le Ukulélé" (over 300 performances), Nicolas Driot is back with a new project: Mars 2020, interruption brutale de tournée. The world on pause. An unprecedented event, coupled with the kind of inner turmoil that life sometimes throws at us. This chaotic period gave rise to 11 songs, sketches of a new album. Reflecting the upheavals of the world and the loss of inner bearings, "Cartographie du Coeur" is a hymn to love and hope, imbued with light. While the collaboration with producer Vivien Bouchet (Zazie, Etienne Daho...) and the arrival of two new musicians on stage have created a more modern, pop sound texture, the lyrics are as delicately chiselled as ever. A poetic and sensitive universe, somewhere between Ben Mazué and Jean-Louis Murat.
