The Padam Partie project was born of the desire to reappropriate history, the need to trace a passage between eras by stimulating forgotten parts of our collective repertoire.

Padam Partie draws from our memories the sounds of France's past. The ones that made our grandparents' generations dance, laugh and meet.
Padam Partie colors the music of yesterday and today, that of the balls of France in the Roaring Twenties and between the wars. This music was born in Paris, from the encounter between musette accordionists, jazz fresh from America, and gypsy guitarists around Django Reinhardt.
