Simone Weil (1909-1943)
Joël JANIAUD
Simone Weil was no ordinary philosopher. She lived a life of intense commitment, from revolutionary activism to the Resistance movement in London in the 40s. Constantly seeking lucidity and contact with reality, she went to work in the factory and joined the Spanish Civil War. Through her writings, she invites us to reflect on action, ethics and politics, as well as on spirituality.
