Founded in 2013 with inspiration from New Orleans brass band culture, the Skokiaan Brass Band has continued to evolve its aesthetic over the course of a decade of human and artistic encounters.

Today, the group is a major force on the national scene, having gradually affirmed and enriched its musical identity through contact with the cultures of New Orleans and the Gulf of Guinea, which have blended with the French culture from which these talented musicians originate.
