THE LAKES AT LA PLAINE TONIQUE

Come and spend a relaxing day fishing at this 140-hectare fishing domain with 5 interconnected lakes and a river, the Reyssouze.

Fishing & Relaxation

The lakes all vary in size, between 5 and 95 hectares, and are on average between 2 and 3.50 metres deep!
An artificial area created by a dredger and gravel.

There are some extremely varied species of fish here :

White fish : roach, carp, tenche, catfish, ablet, bream,
Carnivorous fish : black-bass, perch, pike-perch, pike, silure

Lac des Orcières

– Fishing from a small boat authorised
– Night fishing authorised

Barbecues on a stand are tolerated. It is forbidden to use barbecues directly on the ground and during periods of drought.

Did you know ?

The ‘Lac Noir’ (Black Lake) gets its name from the many trees all around because when the leaves fall into the water, they make the waters look dark.

Night fishing

Night fishing is authorised on the Lac des Orcières as long as you have a specific permit, but it is strictly forbidden on the lake at La Plaine Tonique (Grand Lac). The 5 lakes and the river are all subject to current regulations and are managed by the local AAPPMA association ‘La Semeuse’. Site bears the ‘Ain-Pêche’ label.
