A very short walk along a nature trail around a traditional farm of Bresse with a chimney known as a “sarrasine” or “saracen”. There are entertaining information panels along the way and even donkeys, much to the joy of the children. A unique environment for a walk that is characteristic of Bresse.
This is an easy walk, through the trees, past a few caves and the beautiful Vallière waterfall, hidden in the forest. This site is classified a Sensitive Natural Area. It has therefore been developed so that the public can access certain areas. There are eight places like that in our destination.
A walk around a big lake where you’ll catch a glimpse of gulls or herons on the birds’ island, one of the nine islands on the lake. While you’re here, stop off at La Plaine Tonique leisure complex for a swim or other activities.
